Kevin Pearce rode yesterday at Breckenridge, for the first time since his Traumatic Brain Injury almost two years ago.
There are few recoveries that are as remarkable as KP's. He has overcome physical and mental barriers to return to the sport he loves-- not to compete, but to ride for the love of riding. His story teaches us just how lucky we are to enjoy one of the best sensations on our Earth, and how much the simple joy of carving down a mountain can mean.

I totally love stories like this. Did you see the movie Surfer Girl? ( I think that was the name). It's the true story about the surfer who lost her arm due to a shark attack. She is totally inspirational... great film.
